Every tortoise here has a story—and a special place in our hearts. Some came from tough starts, others joined us as hatchlings, but all are deeply loved and cared for.
With your support, we’re growing this amazing family and can’t wait to welcome more in the future. Thank you for being part of our journey. 💚

But since joining our family, Fiona has made an amazing recovery and now lives her best life! She loves flowers (though dandelions aren’t her thing) and has a funny habit of climbing over her hide on the way to the food bowl—despite it not being in her way at all!

Pablo was rehomed from Hull, East Yorkshire, and arrived with Billy as part of a bonded pair. While Billy is calm and gentle, Pablo quickly showed us his true colours—he’s a clever little escape artist! Always testing boundaries and finding new routes, we’ve since given them separate tanks to make sure both have their own space. Pablo keeps us on our toes and always brings a bit of adventure to the day!

About Me:
Vanilla came to us in 2021 from the same home as Haribow. She’s independent and likes to keep to herself, but don’t be fooled—if you wander too close to her territory, she’ll let you know who’s boss! Her favourite treat is a bright yellow dandelion flower, which she never turns down.

Hi, I’m Dasiy Jade—the heart behind Tortopia! My love for tortoises started as a quiet curiosity and quickly grew into a lifelong passion. What began with just one shelled friend has now become a growing family of wonderful tortoises, each with their own story and personality.
Caring for them brings me so much joy, and I’m dedicated to giving each one the best life possible. Through Tortopia, I hope to share that love with others—whether it’s through helpful care items, tortoise-themed gifts, or simply sharing the stories of these amazing animals. My dream is to one day open a sanctuary where people can connect with tortoises up close and learn just how special they truly are.
